Generation runs through Apple's own system sheet. No account and no API key.
Save or share
Nothing is saved until you choose to. Keep the result in Photos or send it on.
Private by design
DuoAlter has no servers, no accounts and no analytics. Your photos never reach us.
- Photos stay on your iPhone. They live in the app's memory while you use it and are gone when you close it.
- You decide what's saved. Results reach Photos or other apps only when you tap Save or Share.
- No tracking. No ads, no analytics, no third-party SDKs.
- Generation is handled by Apple. Image Playground may process requests on the device or with Apple Private Cloud Compute.
What you need
The app opens on any recent iPhone. Creating new images needs Apple Intelligence.
- iPhone with iOS 18.2 or later to install DuoAlter, take or choose photos and compare them.
- iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPhone 16 or newer with Apple Intelligence turned on, to generate images.
- A supported language. Apple Intelligence needs the iPhone and Siri set to a supported language, such as English.
On other iPhones DuoAlter clearly shows that generation is unavailable; everything else still works.
