Privacy Policy

Who we are

DuoAlter ("the app") is an iPhone app developed by Constantin-Nicu Cojocaru ("we", "us"). This policy covers the app and the website duoalter.eligo.chat. For any privacy question, write to cnc@eforieinfo.ro.

Photos and camera

DuoAlter only works with a photo you actively choose: one you take with the camera inside the app or one you pick from your photo library.

• The photo and any generated image are kept only in the app's memory while you use it. The app does not keep a history and does not store copies on the device.
• When you close the app, the photos it was holding are discarded.
• Image details sent between parts of the app are reduced to the picture itself, without the photo's location or other metadata.
• Nothing is uploaded to us. We do not operate any server that receives your photos.

Image generation by Apple

New images are created by Apple's Image Playground, which DuoAlter opens as an Apple system screen. Your photo and the description you choose are passed to Image Playground for that purpose only. Depending on your iOS version and settings, Apple may process the request on your iPhone or with Apple Private Cloud Compute. This processing is carried out by Apple and is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not receive your photo, your description or the result.

Apple's temporary file for the generated image is read into the app's memory and then deleted.

Saving and sharing

A result is saved to your Photos library only when you tap Save, and shared only when you tap Share and pick a destination. Once saved or shared, the image is handled by Photos or by the app you chose.

Permissions

Permission	Why DuoAlter asks
Camera	Only when you choose to take a photo inside the app.
Photos (choose)	Only to open the photo you pick as the starting image.
Photos (add only)	Only to save a result when you tap Save. DuoAlter cannot read your library through this permission.

You can change these permissions at any time in the iPhone Settings app.

No tracking, ads or analytics

The app contains no advertising, no analytics and no third-party tracking or data-collection SDKs. It does not track you across apps or websites.

Beta testing with TestFlight

If you test DuoAlter through Apple TestFlight, Apple shares certain information with us as the developer, as described in Apple's TestFlight terms: the name and email address used for your invitation, the device and iOS version, install and session counts, crash reports, and any feedback or screenshots you choose to send. We use this information only to run the beta and fix problems, and we do not share it with anyone else.

When you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply and keep it no longer than needed for that conversation and any follow-up.

This website

duoalter.eligo.chat uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party scripts or fonts. Like most web servers, the server hosting it keeps standard access logs (IP address, time, page requested and browser type) for security and troubleshooting. These logs are deleted on a regular rotation and are not used to identify visitors.

Children

DuoAlter is a general audience app and is not directed at children under 13. Because we do not collect personal data through the app, we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Your rights

If you are in the European Union or another region with data protection laws, you have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict its use. In practice, the only data we may hold is your TestFlight details or emails you sent us. Write to cnc@eforieinfo.ro and we will respond within one month. You may also complain to your data protection authority; in Romania this is the ANSPDCP (dataprotection.ro).

Changes to this policy

If DuoAlter starts handling data differently, we will update this page and its effective date before the change applies.
